Letter to the Rebound88
You are one of the growing number of electronic news papers over whose head the Burmese junta cannot hold their gun. Therefore, the international community now gets authentic news about some of the real dirty work the junta is up to, and a glimpse of the tremendous burden of suffering the unfortunate Burmese have to bear. Just one simple question.
Why cannot the poor thousand+ political prisoners be released when they are suffering and dying? How can they be a threat to the junta when they have not even a pin in their hands, not to say of any weapons.
The only reason a very few are released each time they get a favorable rating from the world, is that, they are using them as bargaining chips. That is the way terrorists use their hostages. what else can it be? When the bargaining chips are all used up, the junta will again throw some more opposition leaders into prison and use them to gain more concessions to permit them to carry on their evil ways. This will go on adinfinitum and the rule of the gun will never end.
How cannot we see this despicable game played on the world and the Burmese people for 40 years and still going on?
Why must the honorable DASSK be under detention and be said to be negotiating on behalf of 80% of the Burmese people who elected her freely as their leader?
Is there no deadline for the "talks", will it drag on for another 40 years?
To be fair , the international community and the Burmese people
deserve answers to all the questions urgently. They are absolutely fed up of being served up with unending lies and deception. Could you please put my feed back on your next issue of news so that your world readers may also be able to express their views. THANKS.
